lá. Depois, na NBA de Jordan, Kobe, Shaq, Duncan,
Nash, Nowitzki, Carter, Iverson, McGrady… você por
ali?
Você tem noção, Lebron, que quando o mundo ouvia
CD’s em discman, virava o flip dos seus celulares para
mandar SMS, assistia DVDs, acessava internet banda
larga em lan houses, postava fotos no MySpace e no
Orkut e não fazia ideia do que era home office, você

Deixando o resto do mundo de lado: você tem noção,

Bom, eu pelo menos saí da escola e tirei o aparelho.
Voltei a jogar basquete. Tive birra com você por achar
você “fominha” demais. Passei pra faculdade. Joguei
cada vez mais basquete. Vi você levar os seus talentos para South Beach. Prometi a mim mesmo que se você
ganhasse um título compraria uma camisa sua. Você
ganhou dois. Comprei sua camisa. Esqueci a birra que
tinha com você. Joguei mais basquete ainda. Me formei
na faculdade. Vi você voltar pra casa em Cleveland, igual
à época em que eu estava na escola. Vi você ter a sua
própria escola. Vi outro título seu. Comprei outra camisa
sua. Talvez eu devesse usar aparelho de novo. Talvez eu
devesse voltar pra escola, mas do outro lado da sala de
aula. Joguei menos basquete por causa do meu joelho. Vi

Isso porque esse foi só eu. Imagina a quantidade de

você por aqui?”. Certeza que foi a primeira coisa que

fazer “Space Jam”. A minha namorada pensa a mesma
coisa porque a todo e a qualquer momento você pode
aparecer no meio da conversa sem aviso nenhum. Igual

Mudar nunca é fácil, muito por conta da inevitabilidade
da mudança. É difícil para mim e para muita gente se
imaginar vivendo num mundo sem uma reportagem da
Glória Maria, uma entrevista do Jô Soares e uma canção
de Gal e Erasmo, por exemplo. É muito difícil. Então não
culpe a gente por olhar para o lado e perguntar: “ué,
Lebron… você por aqui?”.
