Transmedia skills is defined as a series of competences related to digital interactive media production, sharing and consumption. These skills and informal learning strategies based on the media activities that young people (12-18 years old) carried out include problem-solving activities in an informal environment (for example, in video games); as well as the production, sharing and consumption of narrative content in social media and other digital platforms and transmedia pedagogy. Given the exponential growth of videos created for personal and professional purposes, student-generated videos for L2 learning are ideal tools to enhance language and digital skills and provide more authentic and engaging learning experiences.
