When it comes to fast food, it's no secret that French fries are a critical (and contentious) menu item for almost every major chain. Whether it's Arby's curly fries, Chick-fil-A's signature waffle-cut fries, or Taco Bell's Nacho Fries with its signature Tex-Mex flair, most fast food restaurants have their own way of zhuzhing up the humble potato. Now, another fan-loved chain is branching out beyond the simple spud and dropping two new iterations of the iconic menu item, and we can't wait to try them.

After maintaining its title as USA Today's 'Best Fast-Food Fried Chicken in America' for the third consecutive year, Jollibee is introducing two new menu items for a limited time, and it looks like the chain is already vying for the top spot in 2027. While classic fries are a fast food staple, flavored fries have emerged across the food scene, including the McShaker Fries from the Golden Arches and Wendy's Shaker Fries. Now, Jollibee is entering the chat with new Jolly Flavor Fries, bringing two fan-favorite potato flavors to the chain's signature spud. 

Inspired by fan-favorite potato chip flavors, Jollibee is upgrading its signature Jolly Crispy Fries by tossing the taters in two new, made-to-order varieties. First up are the Cheesy Cheddar fries, which feature a rich cheddar-flavored seasoning perfect for anyone who enjoys cheese and chips, melted cheese on a baked potato, or my go-to Cheddar & Sour Cream Ruffles.

Jollibee is also channeling another beloved savory potato chip with the Sour Cream & Onion Jolly Crispy Fries, which are tossed in a savory sour cream and onion seasoning.

Each order of Jolly Crispy Fries comes in a custom mini-bucket without a lid, making it easy to grab and snack on the go. The fries are available à la carte starting at $4.49, or you can try them as part of a combo upgrade for a small upcharge.

Jolly Flavor Fries are only available through Oct. 13, so if you want to try Jollibee's newest iteration of the fast food favorite, you may want to head to your local restaurant sooner rather than later. And, while you're there, you may as well grab some Jollibee chicken and see if it really lives up to the national hype.
