As stated by Corrêa (2025), “The Brazilian National Common Core Curriculum (BNCC), enacted in 2017, emphasizes the importance of language teaching integrated with the development of cognitive, social, and cultural skills, reinforcing the potential of CLIL as a pedagogical model that promotes more integrated and contextualized learning”. CLIL, or Content and Language Integrated Learning, involves learning content from other school subjects through English as the medium of instruction and communication.
