Diante da escalada de ataques e episódios de violência
em instituições de ensino, como os recentes casos
registrados no Ceará e no Rio de Janeiro, especialistas e
educadores defendem uma mudança radical na

Em vez de focar exclusivamente em medidas de
segurança física, como detectores de metais e vigilância
armada, o caminho para pacificar o ambiente escolar
passa pela reconstrução do sentimento de pertencimento
e pela humanização das relações pedagógicas.
A resposta institucional imediata costuma ser o controle.
No entanto, o diagnóstico pedagógico é claro: a escola
excessivamente burocratizada e centrada no
desempenho ignora o sofrimento e a invisibilidade dos
jovens. Muitos dos que produzem violência carregam
marcas de exclusão social e ressentimento.
A violência escolar não se resolve com controle,
vigilância ou punição. Essas medidas podem até conter
episódios imediatos, mas dificilmente transformam as
causas profundas e estruturais que atravessam os
sujeitos", aponta a especialista Maria Amélia Santoro,
que é doutora em educação, pós-doutora em pedagogia
e organizadora do livro "Pedagogias Emergentes:
princípios e práticas".
Para transformar o clima escolar, a especialista enfatiza
que é necessário que o aluno deixe de ser um número
ou um objeto de disciplina para se tornar um sujeito
legítimo. "Isso exige a implementação de assembleias de
classe, práticas restaurativas e um currículo que dialogue
com as angústias reais do estudante", afirma Maria
Amélia.
De acordo com ela, a prevenção ocorre quando o jovem
encontra vínculos significativos. Em outras palavras, um
adolescente agressivo é, muitas vezes, um jovem
desamparado. "Quando ele se sente parte de um projeto
coletivo, a escola deixa de ser um 'território hostil' e
