Tema central da questão: O foco aqui é o uso correto das preposições em inglês, especificamente “in”, “under” e “on”, para indicar localização em diferentes contextos.

Conceitos essenciais:

Parágrafo 5: in a busy international airport
Parágrafo 10: under the seat
- Under significa “embaixo de”, mostrando que a bagagem deve ser colocada abaixo do assento.
Parágrafo 14: on the plane

  • C) on – above – by: “On” no aeroporto está errado; “above” e “by” não têm relação adequada de localização nos contextos.
  • D) on – under – by: Novamente, “on” para o aeroporto e “by” para o avião não são apropriados. “By” indica proximidade, não localização interna.
  • E) in – below – in: “Below” indica uma posição inferior, mas não em contato direto como “under”. “In” para aviões é inadequado, pois o uso correto é “on”.

Estratégia para provas: Fique atento ao contexto! Espaços fechados → “in”; superfície → “on”; embaixo/contato direto → “under”. Preposições erradas são armadilhas comuns!

Alternativa correta: B) in − under − on
